I walked down the road from the hotel and found this spot along the Kawarau River. The only problem was I was perched on a bit of a cliff at a steep incline with only wet grass for purchase. The water is icy, crystal clear and with a swift current. Having gathered my wits I sat down and took this shot, then gingerly climbed back up to the road. Nothing like a little adrenaline to get the day going.
